DIGITAL LIBRARY INAUGURATION- USER AWARENESS PROGRAMME


KGRDCP & RI, Karjat on occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar organizes inauguration of The Digital Library “National Digital library of India (NDLI)” ,

  e-Shodh-Sindhu, LMS. The Information organized one day user awareness programme on Access to E-resources under National Digital Library of India, which works under Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology.

Ministry of Human Resource Development, India has initiated the National Digital Library (NDL) project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. It is being developed at IIT Kharagpur. UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST and INDEST-AICTE Consortium. The e-Shodh Sindhu will continue to provide current as well as archival access to more than 15,000 core and peer-reviewed journals and a number of bibliographic, citation and factual databases in different disciplines from a large number of publishers and aggregators to its member institutions including centrally-funded technical institutions, universities and colleges.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Mohan Kale and Dr. P. Y. Shirodkar Coordinator, User Awareness programme. Under the guidance the Dr. Mohan Kale around 130 students participated in the programme
