Konkan Gyanpeeth Rahul Dharkar College of Pharmacy, Karjat organized various events during 51st National Pharmacy Week-2012 from 25th November 2017 to 2nd December 2017.

Along with KGRDCP & RI, Karjat celebrated ‘Pharmacist’s Day’, on 25th September 2017 in association with IPA, FDA, CDARD, APTI, by organizing various events to create awareness amongst the community.

The National Pharmacy Week-2012 was inaugurated at the hands of FDA Drug Inspector Shri. Sahebrao Salunkhe and Mr. Vivek Chaudhary registrar, Maharashtra state Pharmacy Council, Mr. Zulkarnain Dhabiya, trustee of K.G.R.D.C.P & R.I, Karjat, Mr. Vijay Mande, Local Managing Committee Member, Dr. M.K.Kale, Principal of K.G.R.D.C.P & R.I, Karjat, Dr. P.Y. Shirodkar, Academic I/c and Mr. Pritam Juvatkar, Mr. Sandeep Waghulde, Mr. Pravin Naik, Nilesh Gorde, Pravin Jagtap & Mrs. Kirteebala Pawar, teacher I/c. Dr. M.K. Kale elaborated on the theme “Pharmacist in Public Health” and urged the students to participate in various programmes related to Health Care. The management assured help to conduct various events.

On this Occasion Pharmacists having experience more than 30 yrs were felicitated by FDA Drug Inspector Shri. Sahebrao Salunkhe and Mr. Vivek Chaudhary registrar, Maharashtra state Pharmacy Council. On this occasion Mr. Girish Hukare, ACFDA, Raigad, Dr. Debesh Das Vice President, Gufic Lab and Dr. Dharmesh Kharwar, Director, Strategic Alligance, MSD Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Mumbai were key Guest of Honour. Under the guidance of Dr. Mohan Kale, Principal, Around 250 students and Faculties, non teaching faculties were participated in the program.

Street Play was organized to create awareness among community, coordinated by First year student.

On the occasion of Pharmacist day, National Level Assay competition was arranged by our college. Mrs. Rupali Yevale was coordinator for the event.
