SEMINAR ON “GIRLS: PERSONAL HYGIENE AND SAFETY” AT KGRDCP & RI, KARJAT.

a Seminar on “Girls: Personal Hygiene and Safety” to guide our students on the topic of personal protection and available legal help related to Women harassment issues on 25th September 2017 . Mrs. Sujata Tanwade Sr. Police Inspector, Karjat Police Station delivered talk on women safety. She explained all the boys and gents staff about legal action which can be taken against Women harassment cases and issues related with it as well as why and how to respect women. She conducted separate session for all girl students and all ladies staff. With them she shared many cases related with women harassments and precautions to be taken to avoid such incidences. She also explained various ways of legal helps available in such incidences. Another session was on “Menstrual and Personal hygiene”. Dr. Swati Patil and Dr. Deepanjali Bavaskar highlighted about personal hygiene during monthly periods. Both of them explained about various means available during menstruation and care to be taken for their disposal to avoid environmental pollution. They also explained about menstruatiaon related pains and health issues and its treatments. Vote of thanks was given by Mrs Kirteebala Pawar.
